GtkHash allows you to calculate checksums. Checksums can be useful to verify the integrity of a file, for example, if you downloaded it from the Internet.

Per calcolare il checksum di un file:

1. Apri il navigatore di File.

2. Naviga nella cartella contenente il file per il quale vuoi calcolare il checksum.

3. Right-click (on Mac, click with two fingers) on the file and choose Properties.

4. Nella finestra Proprietà, clicca sulla tab Impronte .

   

5. Nella colonna relativa alla Funzione di Hash della sezione Impronte, seleziona le caselle corrispondenti al checksum che vuoi calcolare.

6. Click on the Hash button.

7. Il checksum apparirà nella colonna Impronte.
