Installing additional fonts

You can install additional fonts in Tails to use in LibreOffice, Inkscape, or GIMP.

To do so:

1. Turn on the Dotfiles feature of the Persistent Storage.

2. Choose Apps ▸ Accessories ▸ Files.

3. Select the Dotfiles folder in the sidebar.

4. Select the button in the title bar and select the option Show Hidden Files.

5. Create a folder named .fonts (notice the .) in this Dotfiles folder.

6. Store the fonts that you want to persist in this .fonts folder.

   You can store TTF and ODT fonts.

7. Restart Tails.
